Bookmobile
Did you know the Temple Public Library has a bookmobile? The Book About, Temple Public Library’s bookmobile is run by the Temple Public Library Outreach Department. The Book About can be spotted all over town at senior care facilities, head starts, and events. The Book About houses a diverse collection of materials.
Much like the downtown branch of our library, bookmobile staff takes requests, place holds, and make sure they are ordering titles you will love.
For children these collections include:

- Easy Readers
- Juvenile
- Young Adult
- Accelerated Readers (Reading Levels)
For adults these collections include:
- Large Print Best Sellers
- Large Print Fiction
- Large Print Mystery
- Large Print Romance
- Large Print Westerns
- Regular Print Best Sellers
- DVDs
The bookmobile helps us to service members of our community that may not have access to our main library. The staff offers programming and materials at monthly stop locations.
