There is a lot happening for teens at your Temple Public Library. From opportunities to volunteer and influence programming to learning and playing D&D, we have something here for you to do and learn. 

ProgramsD&D and Beyond
1st Thursday | 5PM | 1st Floor 

Do you like to live on the edge of your seat and by the roll of the dice? Join us for D&D and Beyond. We will be playing games like D&D, Kids on Bikes, City of Mist and more! We meet every first Thursday of the month at 5 pm in the Teen Space. Ages 13-18

Society of Fantastic Bibliophiles
1st Tuesday | 5PM | 1st Floor
Let’s talk about your favorite books! Join us for our new Teen Book Talk program! Learn about new books from other teens and discuss your book with us. We will be meeting the first Monday at 5pm in the Teen Space.

Teen Advisory Board
2nd Tuesday | 5PM | 1st Floor
Tell us what to do! Weigh in on teen programming, events, and make decisions about where the Library is headed. 

Teen Hangout
3rd & 4th Thursday | 5PM | 1st Floor

Looking for a place to hang out with your friends? Join us at the library! Each meeting we will have a fun activity—or, just hang out with your friends and make some new ones!

Teen Craft Corner
4th Tuesday | 5PM | 1st Floor
Take a break from the stresses of school and life, and create something fun during our monthly craft program!

Tween Hangout
2nd Thursday | 5PM | 1st Floor

Join us for Tween Hangout! Every month will feature a new, fun surprise activity to participate in while you hang out with your fellow tweens! So bring your friends, and make some new ones every 2nd Thursday of the month @ 5pm.  We can’t wait to see you there! Ages 11-13

Tween Advisory Board

Calling all Tweens! The Temple Public Library needs your help! Join us for our Tween Advisory Board where you can help influence the future of tween programs! If you are between the ages of 11 and 13, join us on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Meetings will be held at 5pm in the Teen Space. Ages 11-13

  • TexShare
    Visit our TexShare database page to find resource like CREDO Reference, Explora, Gale Science, Gale Opposing Viewpoints, Mas Complete, and Recursos Para Hispanohablantes. This database is accessible while in the Library but requires a username and password if you use it off-site. Stop by the Youth Services Desk to get the login information so you can use these resources at home. 
  • Volunteer with us over the summer and set up a time to have your volunteer form notarized by Library staff!
