There is a lot happening for teens at your Temple Public Library. From opportunities to volunteer and influence programming to learning and playing D&D, we have something here for you to do and learn. 

ProgramsDungeons & Dragons
1st Thursdays | 5PM | 1st Floor 

Join other young adults in the area for a monthly session of D&D (5th edition) with Library staff. These games are for players who want to join us in solving puzzles, battling monsters, and exploring the vast terrains of your imagination. Character sheets and supplies will be available, but feel free to bring your special set of dice or your mini figurines. For more information, contact the youth services desk at 254.298.5557.

Society of Fantastic Bibliophiles

1st Mondays | 5PM | 1st Floor
Let’s talk about your favorite books! Join us for our new Teen Book Talk program! Learn about new books from other teens and discuss your book with us. We will be meeting the first Monday at 5pm in the Teen Space.

Teen Advisory Board

2nd Mondays | 5PM | 1st Floor
Tell us what to do! Weigh in on teen programming, events, and make decisions about where the Library is headed. If you are interested in joining our Teen Advisory Board, visit our Volunteer Opportunity page. 

Teen Hangout
2nd & 4th Thursdays | 4:30PM | 1st Floor

Looking for a place to hang out with your friends? Join us at the library! Each meeting we will have a fun activity—or, just hang out with your friends and make some new ones!

Two Books: One Story
2nd Thursday | 5PM | 1st Floor
Youth aged 10-15 and their grownups are invited to join us for engaging book discussions the second Thursday of the month at 5PM on the first floor. Stop by the Youth Reference Desk to pick up a copy of our next read! For questions, email

Take a break from the stresses of school and life, and create something fun during our monthly craft program!

    Visit our TexShare database page to find resource like CREDO Reference, Explora, Gale Science, Gale Opposing Viewpoints, Mas Complete, and Recursos Para Hispanohablantes. This database is accessible while in the Library but requires a username and password if you use it off-site. Stop by the Youth Services Desk to get the login information so you can use these resources at home. 
  • Volunteer with us over the summer and set up a time to have your volunteer form notarized by Library staff!
