Free Museum Day

We are excited to announce our third annual Free Museum Day! We look forward to seeing you on September 10, 2023, between 10 am and 2 pm. You will not want to miss the chance to explore museums from across central Texas for free and take part in some unique learning experiences!
The Temple Public Library is hosting several local museums to showcase what they offer. Free Museum Day in Central Texas is gearing up to showcase the wonders of Central Texas and to inspire your next fun museum trip, just a few weeks ahead of Smithsonian Free Museum Day on September 17th. The event provides a great opportunity for the public to visit and explore the different museums and exhibits in the area that they may not have had a chance to visit before. It's a great way to discover the history and culture of Central Texas and learn more about the area. 

We invite you to Temple Public Library to experience fun activities, prizes, and discover what's happening in our local communities. Below is a list of a few museums attending, so make sure to mark your calendars for a fun-filled day and start planning how you can utilize local resources. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and obtain additional resource information. So don't miss out on the chance to learn more!
