Autism Spectrum Disorders Workshop / Taller Trastornos del Espectro Autista 
April 23 | English: 1PM & Spanish: 2PM | 3rd Floor

Learn about the characteristics and educational implications of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) with this workshop provided by Michele Lammers of Partners Resource Network and Melody Adams of Blue Cross Blue Shield Community Outreach. This workshop will explore how the characteristics of autism vary significantly within and across individuals with ASDs, how students with autism have varying degrees of challenges and strengths, and early diagnosis and intervention strategies.

Financial Wellness: Lunch & Learn

Día, or Children’s Day/Book Day, is a nationally recognized celebration of children, families, and reading with an emphasis on the importance of literacy for all children of all linguistic backgrounds.
Join us on April 30 from 3 - 5PM to take part in this celebration as we share stories, make crafts, and give away books you can keep!

Teen Volunteer Orientation
April 13 | 2 - 3PM | 3rd Floor


Are you a teen, aged 12 to 18, interested in volunteering at the library this summer? Then you will want to attend our Teen Volunteer Orientation! We will teach you and your guardian how to sign up on and use our online volunteer software, assist with any paperwork, and answer any questions you may have. Pizza will be provided for those who attend! If you are not able to make it to the orientation, no worries! Contact our Teen Librarian, Jen Zehr at to schedule a time to learn about how to volunteer with us time Summer.
